Our clients bought this tired 1960’s house, with an outdoor swimming pool with a view to modernization and providing a pool building to make the pool an indoor pool for all year use, and improve accommodation.

Our design was radical, and has bought the house into the 21st century.  With larger accommodation provided by a large first floor master suite, the remainder of the dwelling was reformed, to provide better bedroom accommodation with en-suite bathrooms.  The whole ground floor area has been opened up, with a new entrance area and staircase replacing the original tiny cramped and dark entrance hall and winding staircase.  A modern pool enclosure with large glazed openings onto a new sun deck are a special feature, as are new glazed openings throughout, and an exterior overcoat of insulated render.  The resultant building will be an exciting change for the owners and the thermal efficiency will be massively improved.  Forecast valuations by reputable estate agents forecast a very positive return on our client’s investment
