Extended and Reformed Villa Northern, Costa Blanca

Our clients had bought the property as a holiday home. As they began to spend more time in Spain, they required something larger, and it seemed to them that the little house had scope for enlargement.

MGA were the design architects and interior designers, and Vives Pons and Asociados dealt with licenses and construction, with joint supervision. The old villa was transformed from a small three bedroom/2 bathroom holiday home to a modern spacious 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home for all year use. The pool was located midway between the upper and lower levels to enable views from an upper terrace over the pool to the mountains beyond to be enjoyed. Large areas of glazing to the first floor living and bedroom areas provide sunny mountain and vineyard views. The result was a complete transformation that has delighted its owners who (we are told), still wake up with a smile on their face as they look across the surrounding landscape.
